For those of you who have visited our gardens, you know the beds are divided into two sections separated by a dry creek bed (commonly known as “the ditch”). On the left side of “the ditch” are the doubles, spiders, unusual forms and newer (or more popular) introductions. On the right side of “the ditch” are the $5.00 beds—eleven beds each measuring 60’ x 8’ and loaded with tons of high quality plants. This is the center of my local market—folks who are simply looking for color for their garden. And this year a ton of spiders and unusual forms have moved into this area.
Also, we have eight more of Mick Morry’s registrations in the Canadian Test Garden ready to introduce in the spring 2010. Two of the registrations, QUIRKS AND QUARKS and PETTY HARBOUR, are actually by Mick’s mother, Ms. Lanny. They are:
· QUIRKS AND QUARKS $100DF [Photo]
· PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE $75DF [Photo]

· PETTY HARBOUR $100DF [Photo]

Thanks for your continued support. We hope to see you in the garden during bloom season. Peak bloom is around the second to third week in June. Bring your camera and take home a memory!
During July and August, we strip all of our daylily beds and re-line plants for fall shipping (2010) or spring shipping (2011). Additionally, the excessive heat and humidity in these two months make it risky to ship plants and guarantee they will arrive in the best conditions.
The web site will be updated with a new Price List by late September (hopefully) and will contain new inventory. Thank you for your patience during this line-out season. We hope you check back with us in the fall to see what's new.
